Using traditional knife techniques on sample work, we check different veneers and materials for their design characteristics. The individual parts of a picture are either set into recesses cut into the base veneer or fitted together and glued onto a base. You will practice not only the three-dimensional representation of designs, but also advanced techniques, such as shear cutting and the ring technique, which offer additional shaping possibilities.
